Firefighters Knock Down 5-Acre Grass Fire In San Jose
SAN JOSE (CBS SF) - Firefighters quickly contained a grass fire in San Jose on Monday afternoon.
The fire was reported shortly after 3 p.m. near Component Drive and Orchard Parkway, and spread to about 5.5. acres, according to San Jose fire officials.
Crews managed to contain the fire shortly after 4 p.m.
No structures were threatened and no injuries were reported.
