SAN LEANDRO (CBS SF) — A swarm of San Leandro and Oakland Police officers hunted for an armed suspect Monday afternoon.

Around 4 p.m., the group was searching near Davis Street and Doolittle Drive.

Video shot by Chopper 5 showed nearly a dozen police units at the scene during the search.

Police re-opened the area and cleared the scene around 4:20 p.m. During the street closure, residents were advised to use Marina Boulevard or Williams Street as alternate routes.

Authorities did not offer any details regarding the suspect or the crimes allegedly committed.
