EpiZen spa is a full-service beauty salon offering service from skin peels to permanent makeup and everything in between, as well as eyelash extensions. Application requires up to two hours. The spa offers a "mink alternative" eyelash which is totally vegan. EpiZen advises that eyelash extensions will last up to two months with proper care and longer with touch-up services. An initial set of lashes costs $225, and maintenance refills (two- to three-week intervals recommended) are $60 to $90 depending on the type of lash.

For a natural look, these experts advise the purchase of 60 to 80 lashes at a cost of $175. For a more elaborate, high glamour appearance, they recommend additional lashes (from 80 to 200), at a cost of $275. Maintenance, at $50 a visit, is recommended every two weeks.

Smooth Operations was founded by esthetician Melanie Kessler who saw a need to establish a salon specializing in waxing and hair removal services usually provided as an "after thought" at most salons. More recently, she has extended her services to include eyelash extensions by NovaLash, a leader in natural lash extensions. Melanie has many years of experience as an esthetician and has received special training from NovaLash to ensure an excellent application which will last up to two months. The initial application costs $160, and refills are $80 or $150 depending on the time spent (30 minutes or one hour).

Kelli and Kirsten are two local Sebastapol girls who own and operate this intimate salon. Kelli studied theatre arts in school and has a career certificate in theatrical makeup. Kirsten has been a licensed cosmetologist since 2005. They specialize in weddings and they are very popular and successful. Kirsten provides eyelash extensions for a reasonable $60 (a little length) or $150 for a full natural look (more for a glamour look). Maintenance cost is $50 per visit.
