VALLEJO, Calif. (KCBS) _ The Boomerang Coast to Coaster ride at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo was stuck on its track for about an hour Wednesday afternoon.

Cherie Derrick-Rounds, who was at the park, said it started around 2 p.m.

"My son and four of my nieces and nephews got on the ride," she said. "They went through one revolution. And then it went up the hill, where it stops and then drops to let them come back and it never dropped."

They released the coaster around 3 p.m. and evacuated the ride, which was full of passengers.

Derrick said it did not appear there were any major injuries for those onboard, although some did complain about dizziness.

The coaster features a "cobra roll" with two inversions and a vertical loop, than goes backwards and travels at a top speed of 48 miles per hour.
