SF Police Looking for Missing Girl

SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS/BCN) _ San Francisco police are looking for a missing 14-year-old girl who they say may have gone out of state with an older man she met on MySpace.

Tiffany Alvarez was reported missing on Saturday.  Authorities say she had been in contact with a man, believed to be in his 30s, for at least three months through the social-networking site.

The man, known as Gino, is described as being 6 feet tall with dark hair, dark eyes, a big nose and light complexion.

Police say he may be driving a newer model silver Toyota Tundra pickup truck.

Alvarez' parents told police they believe their daughter may have gone to Houston with the man.

Alvarez is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 180 pounds.  She has brown hair and green eyes and was last seen wearing gray velvet pajamas and carrying a black purse.

Anyone with information on her possible whereabouts is asked to call the San Francisco Police Department's Missing Persons unit.
