(KCBS) – John Madden analyzes the schizophrenic play of the Oakland Raiders after their big win in Denver, and the 49ers’ tough loss to the Carolina Panthers. He notes that while the second string quarterback is always the most popular player on a losing team, he’s not always the answer to the problem.
Also, John discusses the lack of dominant teams in the NFL, especially in the NFC and AFC West, and why the statistically excellent San Diego Chargers have a losing record. (8:50)
