Antioch Man Stabbed In Fight Over Girlfriend

ANTIOCH (BCN) - A 38-year-old Antioch man was stabbed Thursday afternoon after he got in an argument with his girlfriend and a fight broke out between several people in their apartment, police said.

The fight began at about 1:10 p.m. at the couple's apartment in the 2200 block of San Jose Drive, according to the Police Department.

The pair started arguing about their relationship, and a fight broke out between several people in the apartment.

The victim was stabbed once in the left side of chest during the fight, police said.

He ran from the apartment and collapsed outside, police said. The man was taken to a local hospital to be treated for a collapsed lung.

No information about a possible arrest in the case was immediately available.
