Search Suspended For Man Who Fell Overboard Into Richardson Bay
RICHARDSON BAY (BCN) -- The U.S. Coast Guard Saturday morning suspended its search for a man who fell from a sailing vessel into Richardson Bay in Marin County Friday night.
A call came in around 8:25 p.m. Friday from a sailing vessel that radioed that a man tumbled over the side of the ship and into the water, according to the Coast Guard.
An active search for the victim, believed to be a man in his 20s, continued until about 4:15 a.m. Saturday.
It was suspended until authorities receive additional reports about his possible whereabouts, a petty officer said.
