SAN FRANCISCO (CBS 5) – The latest in a series of storms to hit the Bay Area was expected to bring additional rain with a chance of thunderstorms across the region Friday.
The trailing edge of the storm which passed through the Bay Area Thursday was expected to bring heavy rain to the Santa Cruz Mountains.
The South Bay and East Bay will have rain likely, too, with the Peninsula, Central Bay and North Bay mostly cloudy with only a chance of rain.
The cold air mass will mean more possible hail and snow down to to 3,000 feet. Highs will be only in the 40s across the Bay Area. Winds will be northeast 10 to 20 mph during the afternoon.
