Teen Dies, 4 Hurt In Antioch Crash

ANTIOCH (BCN) -- One teenager was killed and four others injured in a crash in Antioch late Saturday night, police said.

The five Antioch residents were in one vehicle heading east on James Donlon Boulevard when the driver lost control at Nightingale Drive and crashed into a retaining wall about 11:25 p.m., according to Antioch police.

The vehicle overturned onto its side, killing a 19-year-old man, police said.

The 18-year-old driver and two 16-year-old girls were hospitalized with various injuries. One of the girls remained in critical condition this morning, police said.

An 18-year-old man who was a passenger was treated for minor injuries at the scene.
