SAN DIEGO (CBS/AP) – The San Francisco Giants have activated closer Brian Wilson from the disabled list.
Wilson strained a muscle in his left side March 17 during a spring game. Wilson led the majors with 48 saves last season for the World Series champions.
To make room for Wilson, the Giants placed right-hander Santiago Casilla on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to Friday, with an inflamed right elbow.
