Police Identify Couple Found Dead In Cupertino Home

CUPERTINO (CBS SF) - A man and woman who were found dead inside a Cupertino home on Saturday afternoon have been identified by the Santa Clara County medical examiner's office as Gary and Susan Longdon.

Their bodies were found at 2:40 p.m. at their home in the 1000 block of Westacres Drive after the sheriff's office received a report of suspicious circumstances.

Sheriff's investigators said Gary Longdon died from an apparent gunshot wound to the head and Susan Longdon suffered blunt force trauma to the head, although further testing will be required to determine what caused her death.

At this time, the deaths are not yet being ruled a murder-suicide or double suicide, according to the sheriff's office.

Gary and Susan Longdon, 50 and 51 respectively, had been married for about 30 years, sheriff's Sgt. Jose Cardoza said.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Sgt.
