SAN RAFAEL (CBS SF) — Fire damaged the Golden Gate Transit offices in San Rafael early Sunday morning, fire officials reported.

Units responded to a structure fire reported in Building A of the Golden Gate Transit offices located at 1011 Anderson Drive about 12:25 a.m., according to the San Rafael Fire Department.

Arriving firefighters found smoke and fire in the building.

An overloaded electrical cord appeared to have shorted out and started the fire, which was quickly extinguished, according to the fire department.

No one was injured.
