Netflix Adds Miramax Movies To Streaming Roster

LOS GATOS (CBS/AP) - Miramax has become the latest movie studio to make its movies available for streaming on Los Gatos-based Netflix Inc.'s online subscription service.

Beginning in June, Netflix subscribers will be able to watch "several hundred" Miramax movies, the companies said Monday, with dozens of titles being added on a rotating basis. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Miramax's movies include "Good Will Hunting," "Kill Bill" and "Clerks."

Netflix subscribers pay $8 a month to stream movies through an Internet connection, or a bit more to get DVDs delivered by mail. The company has been spending heavily on deals to add more movies and TV shows to its streaming. Some television networks view Netflix as such a threat that they won't license their shows to the service.
