SAN FRANCICO (CBS SF) – A bicyclist who was injured last week when he crashed into a center median on a street in San Francisco’s Forest Hill neighborhood has died, according to the medical examiner’s office.

Gregory Weiss, 38, was hurt in a crash that was reported at 12:15 a.m. on June 6 near the intersection of Pacheco Street and Dewey Boulevard.

At the time of the crash, he was riding his bike south on Pacheco Street approaching Dewey Boulevard, police said.

Sad But most of them have no regard for road safety and are dangerous to pedestrians.

      Dear Daniel Burns,

What is your problem? Why would you make such a public comment on situation that you know nothing about?

Have some respect for the dead and compassion for those who survive the dead. It appears that Greg’s heart stopped while riding his bike — causing the crash. And there was no indication that he was riding fast or even recklessly.

And even if he had been riding without regard to road safety, would that mean that it’s fine that he’s dead?

may-be this is sad,but the fact remains people drive, ride however they want to in SanFrancisco this is the result I see it they drive 40 and when they get on the freeway its 30 miles oops no license that is why CHP might see

The man who died in this accident was my best friend.
The family and friends of the deceased would appreciate it if you would remove your callous and disrespectful comment from this article page.
If you have a problem with cyclists, your rant against “them” is disgustingly misplaced as a comment on this page. Perhaps you should be more considerate in your posting of comments online.

Mr. Burns, Have some respect. Your comment is rude and inappropriate. You make an extremely vast generalization, obviously have no idea what actually happened, and don’t seem to care enough to correct yourself. What’s up with that?
