2 Sought After Elderly San Jose Woman Kidnapped, Forced To Withdraw Money

SAN JOSE (CBS SF) - Police were looking for two men who forced an elderly woman into a vehicle in San Jose, drove her to a bank, and forced her to withdraw money.

The robbery occurred on May 19 and the victim did not immediately contact police out of fear for her safety, police said.

The men approached the victim in the parking lot of a Walmart store in the 700 block of Story Road and drove her to a Wells Fargo bank where they forced her to withdraw money.

Police believe the suspects may have been involved in a similar incident in North Las Vegas on May 25.

The other suspect was described as a Hispanic man in his 50s, with a dark complexion. He is about five feet one inch tall and weighs between 125 and 150 pounds.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at (408) 277-4166 or the anonymous tip line at (408) 947-7867.
