One Person Injured In San Francisco North Beach Shooting
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- One person was shot in San Francisco's North Beach neighborhood Monday night, a fire dispatcher said.
Emergency personnel responded to the intersection of Columbus Avenue and Mason Street after receiving a report of the injured person around 9:45 p.m., the dispatcher said.

The victim was transported to San Francisco General Hospital for treatment nine minutes later.
A resident of North Beach Place Apartments, located a few blocks away at 455 Bay St., said as of 10:30 p.m., police with flashlights were searching for gun casings in the area of Francisco and Taylor streets.
A call to a San Francisco police spokesman was not immediately returned.
