Oakland Shooting Leaves Teen Girl Hurt

OAKLAND (CBS SF) — Oakland police are investigating a Saturday afternoon shooting that left one teenager hospitalized, a police officer said.

Officers arrived at the 2600 block of West Street just before 4 p.m. to find a female teenager suffering from a gunshot wound, Officer J. Moore said.

The girl was taken to a hospital in stable condition and she is expected to survive, Moore said.

Police have not made any arrests in connection with the shooting.
