Man Injured In Oakland Police Shooting

OAKLAND (CBS SF) — One man was injured in Oakland on Friday night during an officer-involved shooting, a police spokeswoman said.

The shooting occurred in the 2100 block of Fruitvale Avenue, which is between Foothill Boulevard and East 22nd Street, at about 7:40 p.m., Sgt. Holly Joshi said.

The injured man sustained a gunshot wound, Joshi said.

According to police, the injury the man suffered was not life-threatening.

    Hmmm, shootings every day in Oakland but when the police shoot, it’s an automatic racial cause according to some of the people that post here. Where are you when the gang members shoot and kill INNOCENT people? Oh wait, they are your friends… Hey, did I just assume something?
