Man Stabbed After Exiting Muni Bus In SF Mission

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) - A man was stabbed after getting off of a San Francisco Municipal Railway bus in the city's Mission District Wednesday  morning, police said.

The stabbing was reported at 1:20 a.m. in the 3000 block of Mission Street.

The 47-year-old victim was exiting the bus when two men who had also been on the bus approached him, according to police.

The suspects allegedly threatened to kill the victim, saying he had disrespected them in an incident on the bus, police said.

The pair then began fighting with the victim, and stabbed him in the chest and back.

The victim was taken to a hospital to be treated for his injuries, which are not considered life-threatening.

The suspects, described as a man between 25 and 30 years old and another around 40 years old, remained at large Wednesday morning, police said.
