Security Guard Accidentally Shoots Himself In SF SoMa

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) – An armed security guard accidentally shot himself in the leg as he got into his car in San Francisco’s South of Market neighborhood late Monday night.

The incident was reported at 11:15 p.m. Monday near 11th and Kissling streets.

The 40-year-old guard was fastening his seat belt when the belt interfered with his holster, causing the gun to discharge, police said.

The man suffered a gunshot wound to his right leg and was taken to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated, police said.

The lack of grammar and spelling skills in today’s journalism workforce is so apparent, not just at CBS, but in all news media. They either no longer proofread articles, or now entirely hire 3rd world workers who’s English is their 3rd language or have lowered the standards to 7th grade qualifications. What is even more pathetic is that the general public doesn’t even care anymore. Sad.

It bugs me too. How hard is it to proofread? Maybe they do proofread but they just don’t know proper English so they don’t even realize there are errors.
