Power Restored After San Jose Outage
SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- Power has been restored to more than 3,000 PG&E customers who were affected by an outage in San Jose this morning, a utility spokeswoman said.
The outage was reported at 5:55 a.m. and was affecting 3,008 customers in south San Jose, PG&E spokeswoman Jana Morris said.
Power was restored to all customers by 6:45 a.m., Morris said.
The cause of the outage is believed to be an equipment failure at one of the utility's substations, she said.
The streets where power was out included White Road, Remington Way, San Felipe Road, The Villages Parkway, Cadwallader Avenue, Stevens Lane, Delta Road and Fowler Road, Morris said.
