Lingering Fog Delays Flights At SFO, San Jose

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Foggy weather caused minor flight delays and diversions at some Bay Area airports Monday morning.

At San Francisco International Airport, some arriving flights are delayed by up to half an hour, airport duty manager Doug Yakel said.

Intermittent fog caused at least one flight arriving at Mineta San Jose International Airport to be diverted to Reno Monday morning, airport spokeswoman Vicki Day said.

She said that flight would eventually land at San Jose once conditions allowed.

Another flight had to circle before landing until the fog had cleared, Day said.

No delays were reported at Oakland International Airport.
