SAN LEANDRO (CBS SF) — Police are searching for Henry Leon, a 19-year-old Oakland man they have named as a suspect in a fatal stabbing of a 15-year-old girl in San Leandro Friday night.

Leon is believed to be a suspect in the stabbing that was reported around 6:20 p.m. in the 1900 block of Pacific Avenue, police said.

KCBS’ Anna Duckworth Reports:

Officers found a girl suffering from multiple stab wounds to her torso, police said.

A responding officer and paramedics performed life-saving measures but they were unsuccessful and the teen succumbed to her injuries, police said.

Leon is believed to be driving a dark blue 2004 Cadillac Escalade with black rims and California license plate No. 5SBE608, according to police.

Police said Leon was in a relationship with the victim and is the father of their 9-month-old baby.

Police are asking the public to notify authorities with any information about the suspect.

This was the city’s first homicide of the year.

In addition to his alleged act of murder, although moot now, isn’t statutory rape part of this equation? Poor infant will have a psychological ordeal to overcome as we taxpayers end up having to support and pay for governmental support (for lack of a better term) and services. If only proper responsible parenting and family love were the first priority, this article would have never been written. Prayers to the families involved.

Indeed…I’m feeding, housing, financially supporting,(including those incarcerated), sooooo many people and ‘families” who lack the the culture, comportment, or manners to introduce themselves and mention a “thank you”.
