OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- Oakland Gang Intelligence Task Force officers recovered firearms, ammunition and drugs this week in a search of a parolee's home near Fremont High School, according to police.
Police conducted the search of a home on the 2000 block of 47th Avenue on Thursday after receiving a tip about a felon in possession of an assault weapon.
The search uncovered five illegally possessed firearms, including an assault weapon and semi-automatic pistols, as well as ammunition. Police also found narcotics including cocaine, MDMA and marijuana.
The suspect's parole has been revoked, and he has been taken into custody, police said.
