Man Sitting In Parked Car Shot In Oakland

OAKLAND (CBS SF) – A man was shot while sitting in his parked car near a 7-Eleven store in Oakland early Monday morning, a police officer said.

The shooting occurred shortly before 4 a.m. in the 4800 block of MacArthur Boulevard, Officer Kevin McDonald said.

The man suffered a bullet graze wound and drove himself to a home in another part of Oakland, where he called police, McDonald said.

He was in stable condition early Monday morning and was expected to survive, police said.

No suspect information was available.
