FAIRFIELD (CBS SF) — Firefighters got the upper hand on a grass fire burning near Interstate Highway 80 in Fairfield, a Cal Fire dispatcher said.

The fire, reported at 2:50 p.m. Saturday, charred 4 to 5 acres but was no longer spreading as of 4:30 p.m., the dispatcher said.

No structures burned and no injuries were reported.
