Overturned FedEx Truck Spills Diesel On I-80 In Fairfield
FAIRFIELD (CBS SF) -- A FedEx truck overturned causing diesel fuel to leak onto the shoulder of Interstate Highway 80 in Fairfield early Tuesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident was reported at 1:13 a.m. on Interstate Highway 80, just west of Air Base Parkway, CHP Officer Peter Van Eckhardt said.
The truck landed on its side on the shoulder of the roadway, Van Eckhardt said.
Van Eckhardt said that no lanes were blocked by the incident, but debris was reported in the roadway.
No injuries were reported, according to the CHP.
