Man Suspected In Girlfriend's Killing In Emeryville Arrested In Chico

OAKLAND (CBS SF) - A man wanted in the shooting death of his girlfriend at her Emeryville home was arrested in Chico last week, police said Monday.

On Wednesday, Chico Police arrested 19 year-old DeAngelo Eagleton on an Emeryville Police homicide warrant, according to a statement from Emeryville Police spokesman Brian Head.

Emeryville Police detectives took custody of Eagleton and transferred him to the North County Jail in Oakland where he was booked on a homicide charge.

Eagleton was wanted in the June 4th killing of 18 year-old Taranda Monique Jones, shot inside her home in the 1000 block of 47th Street in Emeryville.
