AT&T Park Hosts It's First Annual Yoga Day
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) - On Wednesday, the San Francisco Giants tried out a different type of seventh-inning stretch, by hosting a morning yoga session on the field at AT&T Park as part of the team's first annual Yoga Day.
The morning session at the ballpark was led by renowned yoga teacher and Bay Area native Janet Stone, with live musical accompaniment by multi-platinum musician and fellow Bay Area native Michael Franti.
Fans who bought special tickets for the event also received a Giants-themed yoga mat and a ticket to that night's 7:15 p.m. game against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Wednesday is also Filipino Heritage Night at AT&T Park, where a special event package includes admission to a pre-game party at Seals Plaza, a Filipino-and Giants-themed shirt and a seat in a special section.
More information about the events can be found on the team's website at sanfrancisco.giants.mlb.com.
