Pit Bull Found Tied To Side Of Watsonville Highway
WATSONVILLE (CBS SF) -- A pit bull was rescued from the side of a highway near Watsonville Tuesday, according to the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter.
The female gray and white pit bull was found tied to a mile marker post with a belt and a prong collar on Highway 152 near the Watsonville fairgrounds.
The dog had no identification tag or microchip, and was left without access to food and water.
Anyone with information about the pit bull has been asked to contact officer Montes with the Santa Cruz Animal Shelter at (831) 454-7248.
