San Francisco Approves 'Large Vehicle' Overnight Parking Ban For Some Neighborhoods
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS/AP) -- Supervisors have approved a large-vehicle overnight parking ban on many San Francisco streets.
Recreational vehicles, campers, buses and commercial trucks cannot park between midnight to 6 a.m. on streets near the beach and Golden Gate Park and places like the Bayview district, Dogpatch and Potrero Hill.
KCBS' Barbara Taylor Reports:
The ordinance was in response to resident complaints about super-sized vehicles clogging their neighborhoods.
The ordinance, which was approved Tuesday on a 7-4 vote, only affects areas where the oversize vehicles have been a problem.
