Neighbors Find Hercules Woman Dead In Home

HERCULES (CBS SF) -- A woman police found dead in her Hercules home may have been killed during a robbery.

According to the police, the woman's husband called neighbors and asked them to check on his wife after she failed to pick him up from the Oakland Airport, Friday night. The neighbors told police when they entered the home, located in the 100 block of Ash Court, they found the woman lying on the floor, unresponsive, in the front entryway.

Paramedics from the Rodeo-Hercules Fire Department arrived at about 10:45 p.m. and confirmed the woman was deceased. Police say the family car was missing from the garage. There were no other victims.

Police are searching for the family's light blue 2011 Subaru Outback, with an Idaho license plate of 1A1F680. Anyone having information regarding this case, and/or the location of the vehicle, are encouraged to contact the Hercules Police Department at 510-724-1111.
