Body Found In Burning Healdsburg Motor Home

HEALDSBURG (CBS SF) - A body was found in the rear of a motor home that burned on Westside Road in Healdsburg Wednesday, a Sonoma County sheriff's lieutenant said.

Sheriff's deputies responded to the blaze in the 2200 block of Westside Road at 9:20 a.m., Lt. Steve Brown said.

After several fire agencies that also responded extinguished the flames, a body was found in a bed in the rear of the motor home, which was next to the main house on the property and was being used as a living space, Brown said.

The cause of the blaze remains under investigation, and the victim's identity has not yet been confirmed, Brown said.
