Man Stabbed In Martinez Bar Fight

MARTINEZ (CBS SF) -- A man was stabbed in the arm during a brawl in front of a Martinez bar early Sunday morning.

Officers were called around 1:30 a.m. to a report of an assault in the 700 block of Ferry Street, where they found a 26-year-old man suffering from a non-life-threatening stab wound to the arm, police said.

Police said the victim reported being involved in a fight with several people in the street in front of Ray's Lounge at 709 Ferry Street. After being stabbed, the victim fled toward Main Street.

The victim identified the suspect as a bald white man who is about 6 feet tall and weighs between 220 and 230 pounds. He was wearing a black shirt at the time of the assault and may have left the scene in a red Chevrolet pickup truck, according to police.
