Daily Madden: Raiders Looking For Positives As Season Nears End

OAKLAND (KCBS) - Having lost their last six games, the 3-10 Raiders are favored to beat the 2-11 Kansas City Chiefs in Oakland Sunday.

But John Madden told the KCBS morning crew it won't be easy.

"(The Raiders) have to eliminate some turnovers, they have to be more consistent on offense, have fewer three and outs. They have to tackle better on defense and not allow big plays... If they do those things or some of those things, they should beat the Chiefs."

Madden said it's important for the team to improve as the season ends.

"You want to have something to spring into the off-season," Madden said. "(You want) a little taste in your mouth that's not bad. (But) I would expect that the team that finishes out the season for the Raiders, I would expect that next year half of them won't be there." (3:05)
