Oakland Firefighters Control 3-Story Apartment Fire
OAKLAND (CBS SF) - Firefighters controlled a fire at an apartment building in Oakland Monday morning, a dispatcher said.
The fire was reported at a three-story apartment building about 7:45 a.m. at 849 Warfield Ave.
The Oakland Fire Department originally reported four people were being treated for smoke inhalation, but later tweeted a correction, saying no treatment was needed for the displaced residents.
The cause was not known. Damage estimates have not been made available.
