San Jose Firefighters Douse Early-Morning Blaze At Medical Marijuana Clinic

SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- A one-alarm fire at a San Jose medical marijuana clinic Friday morning was being investigated as suspicious, a fire captain said.

The blaze was reported at 4:20 a.m. at Palliative Health Center, located at 1670 Zanker Road, San Jose fire Capt. Reggie Williams said.

The fire was brought under control at 5:41 a.m. and no injuries were reported, Williams said.

There was an odor of gasoline at the building, which was vacant at the time of the blaze, Williams said.

The cause of the fire had yet to be determined, Williams said.

Arson investigators were at the building Friday morning.
