Oakland Police Looking For Missing Woman, Husband Suspects Foul Play

OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- Oakland police are searching for a woman who has not been seen since she left for work on Friday, a police spokeswoman said Sunday.

Gloria Gee's husband contacted police Friday around 9:30 a.m. to report that his wife, who had left their home at about 6:30 a.m., had never arrived at work, police spokeswoman Johnna Watson said.

Her husband told police he suspected foul play, Watson said.

Gee's car has since been located in Oakland by investigators, but she remains missing.

Gee is described as an Asian female, 63 years old, 5 feet 1 inch tall. She has black hair and brown eyes and wears glasses, Watson said.

It is not known what clothing she was wearing, but Gee is reported to be in good health.

Anyone with information on Gee's whereabouts should contact police at (510) 238-3641.
