Police Investigate Oakland’s 2nd Homicide Of 2013

OAKLAND (CBS SF) — Police were investigating a shooting Friday afternoon that left a victim dead in North Oakland.

The shooting was reported at 2:27 p.m. outside in the 600 block of 55th Street, according to police.

Officers found a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police were continuing to investigate Wednesday evening.

The shooting is Oakland’s second homicide of 2013.
