3 Men Found Fatally Shot In Sonoma County Home

FORESTVILLE (CBS / AP) -- Sonoma County authorities said crime scene investigators will be searching a rural Sonoma County home for clues throughout the night after three men were found shot to death in the home Tuesday.

Sheriff's Lt. Dennis O'Leary said the bodies of the men were found in a bedroom around 3:15 p.m. Tuesday when a brother of one of the men and his girlfriend went to the home on the 9700 block of Ross Station Road near Forestville to check on them.

O'Leary said detectives were interviewing family members and friends of the men late Tuesday.

The names of the victims have not been released, and investigators have not said if they have identified any suspects. O'Leary said Tuesday night that the crime was not random.

O'Leary said none of the suspects lived on the property, but one of them has a family member associated with the location.

According to O'Leary, a neighbor reported hearing gunshots, but did not say whether anyone heard any arguing or other noises before the shooting.

The property where the killings took place is near Iron Horse Vineyards. Winery employees said late Tuesday they've been told not to go near the area because of the law enforcement activity.
