Woman Plunges To Her Death From San Jose High-Rise Building
SAN JOSE (KCBS) – A 24-year-old woman plunged to her death from a San Jose high-rise condominium building early Friday morning, according to police.
Officers responded to the City Heights San Jose Condominiums building at 175 W. St. James St. following reports that a woman had fallen from the upper floors.
The woman was pronounced dead on the scene. Her body remained there covered by a yellow tarp until about 7 a.m.
“Currently we have no indication of foul play or suicide at this time,” said a San Jose Police lieutenant on the scene. “That’s why we’ll be turning the case over to the coroner’s office.”
“It could be just a tragic accident and that’s what we are currently interviewing the witnesses about,” he continued.
The City Heights building is one of four new towers built in San Jose in the past decade.
