Woman Plunges To Her Death From San Jose High-Rise Building

SAN JOSE (KCBS) - A 24-year-old woman plunged to her death from a San Jose high-rise condominium building early Friday morning, according to police.

Officers responded to the City Heights San Jose Condominiums building at 175 W. St. James St. following reports that a woman had fallen from the upper floors.

The woman was pronounced dead on the scene. Her body remained there covered by a yellow tarp until about 7 a.m.

"Currently we have no indication of foul play or suicide at this time," said a San Jose Police lieutenant on the scene. "That's why we'll be turning the case over to the coroner's office."
