Oakland Police Arrest Man Who Allegedly Shot Woman
OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- Police in Oakland arrested a man who allegedly shot a woman Friday night, a police officer said.
Officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 1200 block of Powell Street at about 10:40 p.m., Officer J. Moore said.
Upon arrival, officers found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound, Moore said.
She was transported to a hospital to be treated for injuries not considered life-threatening, and is in stable condition, he said.
A man at the scene was arrested in connection with the shooting, Moore said.
