SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS) – A body was found Thursday floating in the water off Pier 48, police and fire officials said.

San Francisco police and firefighters were called to the scene shortly after 10:30 a.m. Police said the body was pulled from the water shortly after.

Details about the victim and the circumstances of the discovery were not immediately available.
