East Oakland Shooting Leaves 1 Critically Injured; 4 Suspects Sought
OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- Police were investigating a shooting in East Oakland that left one victim in critical condition Thursday evening.
Officers received a report of a shooting in the 2600 block of Courtland Avenue, near Fairfax Avenue, at 7:56 p.m.
Four suspects with firearms shot one victim before fleeing the scene in a vehicle, police said.
The victim was transported by ambulance to a local hospital with injuries not considered to be life threatening. The victim is in stable, but critical condition, according to police.
No suspects were in custody and the shooting remained under investigation, police said.
