‘Whose Line Is It, Anyway?’ Returns To Television With Aisha Tyler
BURBANK (THE CW) – Revamped and ready, the hit improv show “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” returns to television on The CW, as announced by network President, Mark Pedowitz.
Featuring the return of Ryan Stiles, Colin Mochrie and Wayne Brady. Minus Drew Carey, this time around San Francisco-born comedienne and co-host of CBS’ “The Talk,” Aisha Tyler makes her debut as mistress of ceremonies.
The premise involves our featured players, who along with a special guest each episode, must put their comedic skills to the test through a series of spontaneous improvisational games. Prompted only by random ideas supplied by the studio audience and host Aisha Tyler, our four performers must use the little information they have and their wild imaginations to depict different characters and an array of scenes, as well as perform songs. After each round of improvisation, Aisha will dole out points to our four performers and declare a winner at the end of every episode.
No word as of yet as to when the exact date of the premiere on The CW Bay Area 44/Cable 12, however it is clear that it will be a summer release.
