BALTIMORE (CBS SF) – The San Francisco 49ers have obtained Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Anquan Boldin in a trade, according to the Baltimore Sun and ESPN.

The reports indicated Boldin was traded to the 49ers for a sixth round draft pick.

Boldin is in the final year of his contract and was due to earn $6 million. The Ravens had hoped to renegotiate his deal but that did not pan out.

In Super Bowl XLVII, Boldin caught passes for 104 yards in the 34-31 win over the 49ers.

Boldin is familiar with the 49ers, having played against them twice a year during the first seven years of his career while a member of NFC West rival Arizona Cardinals. Boldin has spent the last three years on the Ravens.
