Mark 'Mr. Cooper' Curry Discusses Career During KPIX 5 Visit

 
SAN FRANCISCO (KPIX 5) - Probably best known for his breakout role in "Hangin' with Mr. Cooper" Mark Curry came by the KPIX 5 studio to talk about his upcoming "Royal Comedy Tour" with Sommore, Bruce Bruce, Earthquake and Tony Rock. He will be performing at Oakland's Paramount Theater Saturday March 16th.

Curry sat down with KPIX 5's Elizabeth Cook, who called him a comedy legend, and talked asked about his career.

"It's great to be back on television, that's a medium I love" said Curry. "You can say things on television now that Mr. Cooper could never say."

Curry named Bill Cosby as his comedy mentor and said that he talks to Cosby about his career. He mentioned that his children go to the same school as his former co-star, Holly Robinson Peete.

Curry is back on television with Scott Baio in Nick at Nite's sit-com, "See Dad Run".
