Tech Report: Amazon's Handy 'Send To Kindle' Button

SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS)—There's now an easy way to view some web pages on your Kindle or other devices that run Amazon's Kindle software.

Amazon has introduced a new button that sites can incorporate that make it easier for web site owners to share their content.

It works either by having it installed on a website or you can download a button for Chrome and other browsers and you can use it on any website. Then you click on any article and click on the "Send to Kindle" button it does just that, or if you're using your iPhone or iPad and even Android if you're running Kindle software on one of those (Amazon Kindle runs on many portable devices). Then you simply read it later.

The convenience is if you see a website and then you realize you're going mobile and don't want to have to bother looking it up when you're out and about; you can just click send to Kindle. It works great. I'll probably even use this for my site and it definitely gets people to use their Kindle more often.
