7 Jailed In Petaluma Parole Sweep
PETALUMA (CBS SF) -- Seven Petaluma residents were arrested in a gang probation and parole sweep Thursday evening, according to police.
At about 7 p.m. Thursday, the Petaluma Gang Enforcement Team and Sonoma County probation and parole officers searched 13 residences in Petaluma, resulting in the arrest of seven citizens.
According to Petaluma police, the sweep targeted gang members and subjects on probation or on parole within the city limits.
The searches were carried out to ensure that all subjects were complying with the terms of their probation or parole requirements.
The seven suspects arrested were Jenifer Falconer, 25, Micah Alex, 20, Roberto Garcia, 20, Asuncion Padilla, 61, Brenda Winthal, 44, Terri McNally, 38, and an unnamed female, all Petaluma residents.
Among the violations by the suspects were possession of methamphetamine, possession of Oxycontin, possession of prescription medications without a prescription, possession of Vicodin, possession of morphine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a deadly weapon, violation of probation or parole. Two subjects also had outstanding warrants for their arrest.
Winthal was cited and released with a court date while five of the suspects were transported to Sonoma County Jail, police said.
